Jacob – as you can clearly see before he takes that shirt off – supports the England soccer team.
And that causes problems for him.
He lives, you see, in Scotland.
“I left school last year”, he tells us.
“But before that I was always getting into fights with the other lads because I didn’t support the Scottish team.”
But Jacob thinks things could have been far worse. “If they’d known I was gay, they’d have really kicked the crap out of me.”
Now that Jacob’s left school, though, he’s moved to Edinburgh where there’s a big gay community - and he’s even found a new boyfriend.
“Luckily, he’s into rugby right now, so it doesn’t bother him what soccer team I like”, he says.
Jacob tells us that he first got turned on to English soccer – like millions of other fans – for one reason: David Beckham.
“God, he has to be the best looking guy on the world.  I’ve got a copy of his sexy Armani underwear ad on my bedroom wall and I feel like wanking every night as I look at it – at least when my boyfriend’s not there.”When he signed up for HMBoys, Jacob was planning to use his money to help pay for a trip to the US to see Beckham playing for his current team, LA Galaxy.
But with recent talk that his hero might be on the move to an Italian club next, that plan’s on hold.
“It’ll be great if David does move back to Europe”, says Jacob.
“The air fare to Italy is a lot less than to the States – so my boyfriend can come along too.”
And I know that, once he sees David Beckham in the flesh, he’ll never go to a rugby match again.”

Of course, you’ll remember Francois…
He was showcased as an HMBoy only a month ago – and we know from your feedback that you wanted to see a lot more of him just as soon as you could!
Well, as we told you at the time, we were very lucky because Francois met another boy at the photoshoot – Joaquin – and took quite a fancy to him.  In fact, we’re told on good authority, the two of them have been pretty much inseparable ever since then.
Certainly, as you can easily see here, once they’d arrived at our photographer’s studio for their scheduled duo session it was hard to keep them apart (and we mean that quite literally - you’ll note that there’s not a single one of the 223 pictures posted here where the two of them aren’t actually touching each other in some way or another!)
Joaquin – the quieter one – tells us that he was quite taken aback by Francois’s approach.”Francois is so romantic”, he says.  “When he arrived for our first date he brought a big bunch of red roses for me.  Then he took me to an expensive restaurant for a meal that must have cost him every penny of the money he made by posing for HMBoys.”
At that point Francois chips in.  “But it was worth it!  As soon as I saw Joaquin, I knew he was the one for me.
“Not only is he really beautiful, but he is a really sweet person as well.  I know that it’s only been a few weeks that we’ve been together, but I really think that it could last forever.”
Ah, young love!  Don’t we all remember that? Of course, it sometimes ends in tears…
But Francois and Joaquin have, though, got one big thing going for them.
The economic downturn may well be putting lots of other couples under great pressure, but with looks like theirs, our boys won’t be short of a dollar or two for a few years yet.
And they’ve got another big advantage too – these two hot boys just love their work!

“An imaginative and mischievous boy named Tom Sawyer lives with his Aunt Polly and his half-brother, Sid, in the Mississippi River town of St. Petersburg, Missouri. After playing hooky from school on Friday and dirtying his clothes in a fight, Tom is made to whitewash the fence as punishment on Saturday. At first, Tom is disappointed by having to forfeit his day off. However, he soon cleverly persuades his friends to trade him small treasures for the privilege of doing his work. He trades these treasures for tickets given out in Sunday school for memorizing Bible verses and uses the tickets to claim a Bible as a prize. He loses much of his glory, however, when, in response to a question to show off his knowledge, he incorrectly answers that the first two disciples were David and Goliath.” [From the Wikipedia entry The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.]
Not so many kids read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer these days.
In fact, when did you last hear of a kid reading a full-length book at all?
But Mark Twain’s book’s still a pretty good story.
And for anyone who has read it – or who’s seen one of the movie versions – the episode where Tom tricks his friends into whitewashing the fence for him is one of the most memorable.
It certainly seemed to plant itself in the mind of HMBoy Rhys’s dad, too, because, when our boy misbehaved a few months back, his angry father got out a pail of  wood stain and told him that he’d have to paint the old wooden outhouse at the bottom of the garden as punishment.
As you can see in our pictures, it’s a pretty big building and putting a couple of coats of green stain on the wood took Rhys all day Saturday and Sunday morning too.
“I was pissed”, he tells us.
“I had a ticket to a football game on Saturday but my dad just took it off me and gave it away to one of his buddies.”
But Rhys got his revenge. Not only did posing for the HMBoys camera mean he could buy himself an even better ticket to his favourite team’s next match…
…but, as you’ll see in the pictures, he decided to follow Tom Sawyer’s example and give the woodwork that had caused him so much trouble a special coat of his very own personal “whitewash” too.
